- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that investigates the simple, rapid and cost-effective method for DNA extraction, filtration (FT) and dilution (DL) protocols from a single salmon egg from real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification. It notes that the DNA quality, amount and real-time PCR performance were evaluated and compared with the common Qiagen tissue kit (QTK) and Chelex-100-based (CX) protocols. The importance of the extracted DNA in phylogenic research is also emphasized.
