The article discusses a research on ways of determining the weight of a child patient in a pediatric emergency department. Conducted at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, the research involved 238 non-emergent pediatric patients. Weight estimates were provided by physicians, nurses and parents.
