- Abstract
The article reports on storytelling as a way of entertainment and a tool for teaching. It is said that stories are empathetic bridges between people and culture. As stories are told, information is transmitted. It is said that conflict and resolution teach listeners clues for handling and resolving conflict on their own and gives them an understanding that they are not the only ones who experience conflict. Telling stories also establishes some connection with the rest of humanity who share conflict, feel pain and joy.
