- Title
Study suggests little risk of childhood ADHD from benzodiazepine exposure.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the potential association between exposure to benzodiazepines/Z-drugs during pregnancy and risk of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in childhood. The prospective cohort study found that there was no increased risk of ADHD in offspring exposed to benzodiazepines/Z-drugs during pregnancy, but there was a slightly increased risk of ADHD after exposure in multiple 4-week intervals compared with one 4-week interval.
