- Title
The CECC System for Electronic Components of Assessed Quality.
- Abstract
The CENELEC Electronic Components Committee (CECC) System for electronic components of assessed quality became operational in 1973 following discussions which were instituted in 1970. Its object is to facilitate international trade by the harmonization of the specifications and quality assessment procedures for electronic components and by the grant of an internationally recognized Mark, and/or Certificate of Conformity. The components produced under the CECC System are accepted by all member countries without further testing. This object is achieved through two separate but closely associated organizations (a) the CECC, being a committee of the Förderverein für Elektrotechnische Normung, (b) the ECQAC (Electronic Components Quality Assurance Committee).
