- Title
PERA's New Composites Quality Control Scheme.
- Abstract
The Great Britain Production Engineering Research Association's (PERA) Advanced Composites Dept's current involvement in a Strategic Program for Information and Technology Transfer (SPRINT) program encompassing a European consortium to define quality management procedures within the European composites industry, which by 1992 will become European Economic Community recommended practice, is being augmented by a new PERA Composites Quality Control Consortium. With its new initiative, PERA intends to enhance the SPRINT project to enable the industry to meet the challenge of a single European market in 1992, and influence European standards guidelines and assist in their interpretation and implementation, reduce the industry's quality costs, and improve existing and potential markets' perception of the composites industry's products.
