- Abstract
The high efficient anti-mud polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE-GKN) was synthesized by free radical solution polymerization with high molecular weight of isobutenol polyoxyethylene ether (HPEG8000) as macromonomer and allyl trimethyl ammonium chloride as functional monomer. The structure of the polymer were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the anti-mud effect of polymer was examined by mortar and concrete test. The results showed that the structure of the prepared (PCE-GKN) was consistent with the design structure, had a higher molecular weight, and the antimud effect was significantly better than the conventional reducing water type polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE-JS).
