- Abstract
In order to build an evaluation index system that meets the requirements of simplicity and completeness and reflects the high-quality development status of the irrigation area, taking a large and medium-sized irrigation area in Gansu Province as an example. A high-quality development status evaluation index system for large and medium-sized irrigation areas had been established from five aspects: water use level, management level, engineering status, planting structure, and irrigation area ecology, including 23 indicators. The weights of each indicator were determined by using the analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method, and the comprehensive weights were determined by using the linear weighting method. The application of the evaluation index system for the high-quality development status of irrigation areas was carried out. The results show that a) the evaluation index system can better reflect the current situation of high-quality development in large and medium-sized irrigation areas, and the evaluation index system is scientific and reasonable; b) while continuously promoting the construction of supporting renovation projects for large and medium-sized irrigation areas, the country should promptly and reasonably evaluate the cur- rent development status of irrigation areas to ensure high-quality development.
