Computer Science Courses at the University of Miami.
- Abstract
The article announces the introduction of both undergraduate and graduate programs in computer science at the University of Miami School of Engineering starting Fall 1965. According to the author, the IBM 7040-1401 system in the University's Computing Center will be used for course work and research in the computer science option in industrial engineering. The undergraduate specialization will give students a full spectrum of knowledge about computers in hardware and software, while the graduate specialization will provide students with a greater depth of knowledge in software applications. Information on enrolling in the courses is included.
