- Abstract
The article presents information on the second safari launched in Africa by Ernest Hemingway, the noted novelist of English language, while writing his posthumous book "Under Kilimanjaro." The safari was launched on September 1, 1954 at the time when Hemingway was 54 years old. During the safari Hemingway was appointed acting game ranger of the concession, and managed the safari when Pop, nickname of his beloved friend, Philip Percival, left for personal business. The book published in 2005, was kept as original as possible by the editors. It is a narrative, comprising of two hunting stories and the stories of Hemingway's two romances at the time.
