- Abstract
The article "A new class of tyrosinase inhibitors for radiant skin" introduces a new class of active ingredients called Hordatines, which have a strong inhibitory effect on the enzyme tyrosinase. These molecules were discovered using artificial intelligence. A study shows that an extract from barley sprouts containing Hordatines reduces skin pigmentation by 20% and improves skin brightness. The extract inhibits tyrosinase and reduces melanin production. An in-silico study confirms the effectiveness of the extract on different skin types, age groups, genders, and ethnicities. The article also mentions the participation of the company RAHN AG in the In-Cosmetics Global 2024 fair, where they will present their Fragments Remastered line.
