- Abstract
The article presents an overview of the issues related to confabulation in correctional settings of prisoners in the U.S. Topics discussed include the mental ability of people in confabulation, the mechanisms associated with confabulation and medical diagnostic for possible symptoms of confabulation. It also presents a list of suggestions for correctional professional in determining the truth and lie stories of prisoners.
