- Abstract
The objective of this study was to identify the formation of social networks on the scientific production of organizational culture in the period of 2006-2010 in high impact journals Qualis Capes (A1, A2, B1 and B2) of Brazil. Therefore, descriptive statistics were used for the survey of scientific literature on organizational culture, and in the analysis of social networks established by the authors, it was used the Unicet® software, version 6.0. It was found 78 authors, which represent the "nodes" that produced 140 relations among themselves, called "ties", there were 11,966 possible ties, indicating a social network made up of weak ties, fragmented, with the existence of 12 subgroups and low density, indicating that the network is fragmented in small closed groups of researchers studying the topic "organizational culture".Concluding, there's a need for expansion of the social network, not only in formed ties, but also in continuity and diversity among authors considering that a denser network in principle means faster dissemination of knowledge, arriving with greater agility and fluidity than those connected to it.
