Client Autobiography.

- Abstract
The article discusses the usefulness in creating a client autobiography during the information-gathering process made by social workers. Accordingly, writing words during the process may be resorted as an alternative to oral conversation because; first, it may help the person to get started talking during the verbal interview; second, the person has time to give the response at his convenience; third, it may be easier to write about problems alone; and fourth, it may encourage greater activity by the respondent. By urging a client to compose an autobiography, the time for the social worker to identify areas for social work may allegedly be reduced, and that, it could provide a means of expression attractive to several respondents.
