- Abstract
The article presents a literary critique of the works of the English author Wyndham Lewis, particularly his unpublished novel "Joint," examining its engagement with the concept of obscenity. The larger contextual influence of modernism on the form and style of Lewis is discussed. Intertextual references and influence from the novel "Ulysses" by James Joyce, are also explored.
