- Abstract
The article describes a 2005 mapping and inventory project that aims to map the Havasupai tribe's irrigation system in Arizona and surrounding structures to evaluate flood damage and secure federal funding for repairs. The participants of the project include the Havasupai tribe, the BIA Truxton Canon Agency, and the BIA Geographic Data Service Center. The technology used by the project include Trimble Pro XR Global Positioning System receiver, TSC1 data logger, and Pathfinder Office software, LaserCraft Counter XLRic laser rangefinder, and ESRI ArcGIS 9.
