- Abstract
Objective: To identify the profile and feeding habits of users of Mother Pauline Corner (Petrolina / PE). Methods: This is a descriptive study with quantitative approach, developed from a questionnaire administered to 41 users of the institution, and of both sexes over 20 years. Data were organized and tabulated using the Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: 12% of users come from Petrolina, 70% are female, most are adherent of Catholicism (57%), 50% are aged between 40 and 60 years, the self-image is negative for 59% and 62 % have a BMI above the normal; know the risks of unregulated power supply (95%), practice restriction in the diet (24%), have healthy eating habits (36%). Conclusion: Trofoterapia can change the design of the users on the quality of food and eating habits. We stress the need for proposals for education in food safety.
