The article offers news briefs related to endocrinology. Levothyroxine (L-Thyroxine) treatment can reduce the rate of miscarriage and premature delivery of pregnant women with autoimmune thyroid disease. Ramipril and rosiglitazone are anti-diabetic drugs that can prevent the high risk of type 2 diabetes. The discontinuation of alendronate, a bisphosphonate drug used for osteoporosis, can reduce a little quantity of bone mineral density (BMD) of the postmenopausal women after five years.
