- Abstract
The article analyzes the legislative decree n. 33/2013 (called Transparency Act) that concerns the disclosure of public information, considering the evolution of the principle of transparency in the Italian set of rules as well. The essay explores specifically the objective aspects of this theme, such as: the purposes of this kind of disclosure; the individuals' rights introduced; the real matter of publicity. So as to do this, the article illustrates the drawbacks set by the rules and considers the positioning of the main Italian designated public institutions, i.e. the Anticorruption Authority and the Data Protection Authority. Finally, the essay focuses on the rule ratified by the statute law n. 124/2015 which allows the Government to introduce access ways typical of the Anglo-American Freedom Of Information Act.
