- Abstract
The article focuses on the steps taken by the European Insolvency Regulation for the improvement in the efficiency of insolvency proceedings. Topics discussed includes cross-border effects of the insolvency proceedings within the European Union countries, rules laid down by the European Insolvency Regulation on jurisdiction common to all member states of the European Union and domestic powers of the liquidator in insolvency proceedings.
