- Abstract
This document is a response to a letter regarding a study on the changes in deformation of intraocular segments caused by airbag impact in eyes of various axial lengths. The authors acknowledge the limitations of their study, including the fact that ocular components change over age and can alter the pathology of ocular complications with airbag impact. They also mention previous studies that support their findings on the effects of airbag impact on intraocular components. The authors agree with the suggestions for further research and are committed to investigating the kinetic phenomenon of airbag impact on simulated eyes.
