- Abstract
The article presents case studies which involve Bell's palsy and pre-eclampsia (PE) during pregnancy. Topics discussed include the medications administered to a 29-year-old patient that demonstrated symptoms of haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet (HELLP) syndrome, the steroid therapy given to a 35-year-old patient with complete facial paralysis, and the improvement in the facial palsy of a 27-year-old patient after oral corticosteroid and acyclovir therapy.
