Abstract
The article reports on the nominations for the annual Bad Faith Award. The award will recognise the person who has made the year's most outstanding contribution to talking unadulterated nonsense about matters of religion. Pope Benedict XVI is included in the nominees for saying that condoms are worsening AIDS in Africa. Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor is also one of the nominees for his suggestion that atheists are not fully human.
