- Authors
SCHÁVELZON, DANIEL
- Abstract
At the little-known site of Caballito Blanco, Oaxaca, there is a five-sided structure (Building O) that greatly resembles Building J from Monte Albán; the latter is famous for its design in the form of an arrowhead; the former, however, has remained almost unknown despite its proximity and easy access. In this article this structure is minutely described, including orientation and characteristics, together with the other extant buildings at Caballito Blanco. The area was first studied by John Paddock in 1959 and 1960; no other surveys have been conducted there since.
