- Abstract
The article examines the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the Monsanto Co. v. Geertson Seed Farms case that involves genetically modified crops. It indicates that the Supreme Court has decided to issue a broad injunction that forbids partial deregulation and planting of genetically modified alfalfa. Moreover, the article explores the juridical and scientific approaches of food law in non European countries and the growth of international trade in foods.
