The author argues against kleptoparasitism which took place in manuscript preparation by proxy. The author focuses on its complications in which enable the authors to rely on referees to proxy the revision and refinement of their manuscript. An overview on its similarity to plagiarism which the author termed as kleptoparasitic-plagiarism is offered. An advice is presented for referees to watch out for this and for authors to renounce from this practice.
