- Abstract
The article examines the treatment of administrative criminal processes in Canon Law of the Catholic Church. The administrative process regarding criminal law is compared and contrasted to the judicial process, and the anterior phase to both of these processes is outlined. Questions regarding specifications over the nature of the crime under investigation are outlined, including if the the crime has actually be committed and if the suspected person was the true agent. A history of the development of criminal process as it is today realized is also provided.
