- Abstract
This work highlights the importance of knowledge of the spatial and temporal variability of physical and chemical parameters in the lentic environment in the reservoir. To understand the variability of physical and chemical parameters is necessary to understand the evolution of the system and how it reacts to different internal and external interventions of the water body. The following parameters were selected: water temperature, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and pH, due to their importance in any study on quality of water resources and also due to vulnerability to internal and external influences. The study shows that not only just the analysis of the levels of these parameters, it is necessary to know the inner workings of the body of water, to be able to interface with the external aspects and thus know the dynamics of variability timeline of physic-chemical parameters. With this knowledge it is possible to compartmentalize the aquatic environment and to identify the most affected areas.
