- Abstract
The article discusses the prosthetic management of implants with various osseous levels. One of the primary scenarios for implant replacement is adequate bone in height and width which allows for traditional implant replacement. Several clinicians prefer to have the single-tooth implant-supported restoration cemented in place. Technological innovations and materials are starting to enable treatment of the mild to extreme bony abnormalities that ultimately identify the soft-tissue architecture. Clinicians have observed that pre-extraction planning of teeth is important to prevent disfigurement of the soft tissues.
