- Abstract
The article offers information on the adoption of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) by the International Maritime Organization of the U.S. which includes regulations for prevention of pollution from ships. Topics discussed include several annexes in MARPOL which includes amendments in regulations, regulations suggesting need for vessels to maintain oil record books, and several issues related to the Angelex Ltd. v. United States court case.
