- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the intumescency of clay nanocomposite hydrogels (NC gels), polyacrylamide (PAAm), in acrylamide (AAm) aqueous solution. It states that as the concentration of AAm aqueous solution decreased, the NC gels' swelling behavior increased. It also says that the said intumescence behavior in the AAm solution was a result from the NC gels' network structure modification.
