- Abstract
The article discusses a study that focuses on geological conclusions derived from the isotopic compositions of helium and argon in hydrothermal sulfides from Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR). Topics discussed include distribution of submarine hydrothermal sulfide deposits in a variety of tectonic settings; ridge abnormal accretion due to probable interaction of crozet hotspot and SWIR; and an isotopic analysis showing presence of argon in sample derived from seawater.
