- Abstract
The article discusses information the British intelligence services had regarding the use of poison gas as part of the Jewish Holocaust. Topics include Allied propaganda in relation to allegations of German atrocities, Allied information on the use of gas chambers in mass murder at concentration camps, and Allied knowledge of the use of gas vans. Also addressed are information from Polish resistance officials, the influence of national security concerns on the disclosure of British intelligence findings, and the circulation of unfounded rumors in Poland.
