- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of psychological type theory in developing professional identity of law students in the U.S. Topics discussed include release of the Carnegie Report by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching which reveals little attention paid by the U.S. law schools to develop competency and professional practice among law students, changing accreditation standards as per American Bar Association and importance of self-knowledge in facilitating development.
