- Abstract
The article focuses on the impeachment of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich for charges including felonies, conspiracy, and attempted extortion. It examines the constitutionality of the Elected Officials Misconduct Forfeiture Act (EOMFA) through the application of the standard described by the Supreme Court in the case of Simon & Schuster v. New York State Crime Victims Board. Information on the "Son of Sam," laws regarding profiting of criminals from their criminal notoriety, are included. :-)
