- Abstract
The article focuses on removing gender bias from Louisiana Civil Code. It uses linguistic theory and empirical research for examining why masculine generics are detrimental to society; assessment of other states legislative drafting practices and their willingness to use gender-neutral language in state laws; and Louisiana Equal Pay for Women Act for eleminating gender pay gap.
