This article discusses the installation of three new elevators at the Tremont Avenue subway station in the Bronx, New York, to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The elevators are equipped with fire alarms, cameras, and an emergency communication system for those with speech or hearing disabilities. The station is now fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Additionally, the article mentions the installation of elevators at the New York University Langone Health Brooklyn Ambulatory Hub and the provision of KONE elevators for two mid-rise buildings in Brooklyn and Queens.
