- Abstract
The article offers information on three English Cathedral music pieces. It describes the structure of a piece titled "Voluntary for a Double Organ," by John Luggee. The author says that the piece "Postlude in D minor," by Charles Villiers Stanford requires neat chord playing, agile pedal technique and organ management. He states that the piece "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis," composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams for strings may have inspired the "Master Tallis's Testament," by Herbert Howells.
