Reconstruction and analysis of a genome-scale metabolic model for Scheffersomyces stipitis.
- Abstract
The article offers information on a study that reconstructed and analyzed genome scale metabolic model for understanding the metabolism of Scheffersomyces stipitis yeast at a global scale. The model was constructed by experimental investigation and known yeast physiology and composition of Scheffersomyces stipitis biomass was estimated. Results showed that the model predicted substrate utilization and anaerobic growth requirements.
