The article discusses the relational infrastructure of law firm culture and regulation in the U.S. as of September 2013, focusing on professional values, technological trends, and the reportedly exaggerated death of large American law firms (Big Law). Other topics include autonomous self-interest, attorneys in the U.S., and long-term relationships between law firms and clients. Expertise, capacity, and reputational capital are also examined in relation to Big Law.
