- Abstract
This article discusses a study which delves on the persistence of unique problems among small businesses in Korea and Japan throughout the 2000s. The author reveals that small firms in both countries have hardly advanced in industrial innovation and technological growth. The author also relates that the number of small entrepreneurs who hire additional workers in Korea and Japan have been on a decline. The article also takes a look at labor politics of small businesses in East Asia.
