- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that involved conducting electrolytic plasma processing (EPP) cleaning on high-strength American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 4340 steel coupons of 24-millimeter (mm) diameter and 1.5 mm thickness. Researchers also conducted high resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM) on cross sections of the steel specimens. The results indicate that the grain size increases with increasing depth.
