- Abstract
The article discusses the author's experience with living in a house set up for people who were formerly patients in a psychiatric hospital in Brisbane, Australia. The author chronicles a number of events that occurred in the house, including moving in, the handling of chores, and day to day social interactions between the residents of the house. Also discussed is an event in which the author cuts himself with a razor blade. The author relates the experience of having social workers come to the house to observe its residents.
