- Abstract
The article discusses the factors that lead to the establishment of trust as well as the considerations under which trust counts most. It states that by using the datas from public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the pharmaceutical industry in China, it was found out that prior ties between partners increase the effects of cooperation through increasing inter-organizational trust. It mentions that the relationship among inter-organizational trust and cooperation effects is controlled by the type of doubt dominating in a specific PPP.
