- Abstract
The article discusses a study aimed at measuring the effect of introducing medical simulation manikin training programs for hospital staff on safety culture in a rural hospital. It notes the increasing use of high-fidelity human patient simulator-based training in hospital crisis team training (CTT) and other patient safety-related areas. It says the study makes use of the findings of an annual hospital Safety Climate Survey for primary outcome measures. Also cited are the factors which may affect survey response rates, including lack of incentives.
