- Abstract
The coal-based alkyldiphenyl oxide disulfonate (C10-13 MADS) was synthesized using Fischer-Tropsch synthetic oil, diphenyl oxide and S03 as raw materials through alkylation-sulfonation-neutralization. The salt resistance, alkali resistance, equilibrium surface tension, dynamic surface tension, wetting ability, foam and emulsification of C10-13 MADS and dodecylbenzene sulfonate (LAS) were tested. The results were as follows: salt resistance of C10-13 MADS was better than that of LAS; alkali resistance of C10-13MADS was better than that of LAS; critical micelle concentration (cmc) of C10-13 MADS was higher than that of LAS, and there was no significant difference on surface tension at cmc between C10-13 MADS and LAS; dynamic surface tension of C10-13MADS was higher than that of LAS; wetting time of C10-13MADS was longer than that of LAS; foam volume of C10-13MADS was lower than that of LAS; emulsification ability of C10-13MADS was lower than that of LAS.
