- Abstract
The article reports on the insufficient budget for Constellation, a human space-flight programme of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 2009. It mentions that the programme was only designated 6 billion dollars budget, which several billion less than was designated in previous budgets. Thus, NASA looked at alternatives by narrowing some 3,000 permutations, such as the cancellation of the Ares I rocket, one of two needed to take cargo and astronauts to the Moon.
