- Abstract
The article focuses on nanotechnology firm Oxonica losing an appeal against a September 2008 court ruling in favor of Neuftec on July 9, 2009. Ronen Hazarika, who started Neuftec, claims that Oxonica used a form of cerium oxide nanoparticles invented by him without paying royalties. Kevin Matthews, Oxonica's chief executive, remains optimistic despite the losses the company had incurred. It is stated that the company's future is secured but it involves significantly simplifying the business.
