- Abstract
The article discusses the scope of quasi-property rights in regards to the families of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S. whose remains have yet to be identified. Subsequent litigation involving the National September 11 Memorial and Museum is mentioned, along with the New York County Supreme Court case Regenhard v. City of New York which deals with the privacy rights of the victims' families and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of New York City.
