- Abstract
The article discusses efforts of the U.S. Navy (USN) and the French Navy who were involved in the 2012 search for the Bonhomme Richard (BHR), a sailing warship in the Continental Navy. It mentions that a French hydrographie ship, equipped with side-scan sonar and a magnetometer, was involved in the search to scan the seabed. It adds that the P-3 Orion aircraft from the USN, equipped with a magnetic anomaly detector, flew over the search area to detect a debris field of iron ballast.
